method
  1. Prep the banana by peeling and slicing it into small chunks.
  2. Place the banana pieces in the blending container. If you prefer a thinner purée, add 1–2 tablespoons of water or breast milk.
  3. Close the lid securely and select the Auto Blend mode. The KiddoKook Pro will blend until the texture is smooth and creamy.
  4. For younger babies (4–6 months), aim for a silky, lump-free purée. For older babies, use the Pulse button to leave it slightly thicker.
  5. Serve immediately. spoon-feed gently or offer in a silicone feeder for early self-feeding practice.
storage guide

Best served fresh. Banana purée browns quickly due to natural oxidation, though it’s still safe to eat.

If needed, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. To reduce browning, mix in a few drops of lemon juice (only if your baby has already tried citrus).

Freezing is not recommended. The texture and colour change significantly after thawing.

benefits

✓ Naturally sweet and rich in potassium for healthy muscles and heart function.

✓ Provides carbohydrates for gentle, steady energy.

✓ Soft and easy to digest. Ideal for early feeding.

✓ Mild in flavour and texture, helping babies build confidence as they explore solids.

tips

Pick ripe bananas: The riper (and more speckled), the sweeter and softer the purée.

For variety: Mix with steamed pear, apple, or avocado as your baby becomes comfortable with more flavours.
