ingredients
  • ¾ cup pumpkin, peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup carrot, peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup cauliflower florets

storage guide

Store unserved, excess purée in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

For longer storage, pour into baby-portioned freezer trays or silicone trays (like the PureePops Tray) and freeze for up to 2 months.

To reheat, place frozen / cold purée in a heat-proof ramekin, and place inside the steaming basket for a short steam cycle in the KiddoKook Pro, or warm gently over a water bath. Always check temperature before serving.

benefits

✓ A naturally sweet mix of orange and white veggies packed with vitamins A and C to support vision and immunity.

✓ Carrots and pumpkin bring fibre for healthy digestion and beta-carotene for skin and eye health.

✓ Cauliflower adds vitamin B and choline, which help with early brain development.

✓ A smooth, veggie-rich starter that helps babies explore texture, colour, and flavour while building healthy eating habits early.

tips

Introduce one at a time: If it’s your baby’s first time with these veggies, consider offering them one at a time first, as single-ingredient purées, to see how they respond to each new taste.

Adjust texture: Add more steaming water for a smoother purée or less for a thicker, chunkier texture as your baby grows.

Meal prep tip: Freeze in small portions for quick, ready-to-serve meals.

Serving ideas: Serve warm as a purée, mix into pasta or rice, or swirl through yoghurt for a gentle veggie boost. (As long as your child isn’t sensitive to dairy.)

For added flavour: Once your baby is ready, sprinkle in mild baby-safe herbs like parsley or thyme to introduce new flavours.
