Veggie Bolognaise Sauce

This family classic gets a wholesome, veggie-packed twist! Pumpkin, spinach, and cherry tomatoes blend into a smooth sauce that works for both little ones and grown-ups alike. Make it with or without meat for an easy, freezer-friendly meal made in the KiddoKook Pro.

method
- Add pumpkin to the KiddoKook Pro steamer basket and steam for 15 minutes, until soft and tender.
- In a frypan, heat a little olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened and slightly reduced.
- Transfer the steamed pumpkin to the blender basket, reserving half of the leftover steaming water. Add the tomato mixture and spinach. Select Auto Blend and blend until smooth.
- Stir the sauce through cooked beef mince (if using) and mix with your favourite pasta. Serve immediately or freeze extra portions. Makes around 4 serves of sauce.
