The appliance won’t start
Check: Ensure the appliance is plugged in and the power button is pressed.
Solution: Confirm that the mixing bowl and lid are correctly aligned and securely locked into place. The KiddoKook Pro has safety features that prevent operation if components are not properly assembled.
Inconsistent blending results
Check: Look for overfilling or improper placement of food in the bowl.
Solution: Ensure food is cut into smaller, even-sized pieces and does not exceed the maximum fill line. Use the pulse function for better texture control.
No steam is being produced during the steaming function
Check: Ensure there is enough water in the tank and check for blockages in the steam vents.
Solution: If necessary, refill the water tank, ensure the bowl and lid are properly aligned, and clean any blocked vents.
The device overheats and shuts off
Check: This may occur due to continuous operation without adequate pauses.
Solution: Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes before restarting. Avoid running long steaming or blending cycles without breaks.
Water is leaking during steaming
Check: This could happen if the water tank is overfilled or if the assembly is misaligned.
Solution: Check the water level before starting and ensure all parts are correctly locked in place.
The timer display shows an error message E1
Check: This typically indicates that the mixing bowl is not attached or aligned correctly.
Solution: Align the mixing bowl handle with the “Open” label on the base. Twist the handle anticlockwise to secure it. Turn the lid anticlockwise to ensure it is also properly shut.
Food is not cooked correctly
Check: The water tank might be empty, or the food might not be cut into small enough pieces.
Solution: Check the water tank and refill it if necessary. Ensure food is adequately sized (about 1cm cubes) for even cooking.
Limescale build-up in the water tank
Check: Mineral-rich tap water can cause limescale accumulation over time.
Solution: Use a descaling solution appropriate for the KiddoKook Pro or a mixture of white vinegar and water. Run a sterilize cycle with this solution, then rinse thoroughly.
