  6. Serve one portion warm, then let the rest cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 48 hours, or freeze for later.
Storage guide

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days (48 hours).

For longer storage, portion the purée into silicone freezer trays or our MiniMunch Baby Food Glass Jars and freeze for up to 2 months.

To reheat, use a short steam cycle on the KiddoKook Pro or warm gently in a heat-safe bowl over hot water. Always check the temperature before serving.

Benefits

✓ Sweet potato contains beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A.

✓ Beetroot provides fibre and folate while introducing bub to a gently earthy flavour.

✓ Cauliflower contains vitamin C, fibre and choline, making it a nutritious addition to bub’s veggie rotation.

✓ Combining sweet potato with beetroot and cauliflower creates a naturally sweet flavour that can make earthier vegetables more appealing.

Tips

Texture tweak: Add more steaming water for a smoother purée, or use less for a thicker Stage 2 texture.

Beetroot warning: Beetroot can stain hands, clothes and surfaces, so an apron and a quick clean-up are definitely your friends!

For variety: Once bub has tried each ingredient separately, try swapping the cauliflower for broccoli or zucchini.

For toddlers: Stir the purée through cooked pasta, spread it onto toast or serve it as a colourful veggie dip.

To meal prep: Freeze any leftovers in small portions so you can defrost only what you need.

To help prevent staining: Place the cauliflower at the bottom of the steaming basket, with the sweet potato and beetroot on top. These naturally colourful vegetables (especially beetroot) may discolour the plastic if they come into direct contact with it. Any staining is purely cosmetic and will not affect the performance or safety of the basket.
